GAS GENERATION FROM DROPLETS AND FROM CATALYST BEDS.

Abstract

Two separate experimental systems were used to obtain data on evaporation from and condensation on liquid droplets, and adsorption and desorption in packed beds. The data obtained from these experiments were used in an attempt to establish analogies between sprays of liquid droplets and fixed beds of absorbent material. These experiments are described, the results are summarized and analysis of the data directed toward establishing analogies are presented. (Author)
