THE THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF HEAT EXCHANGE IN A PLANE-PARALLEL DUCT UNDER CONDITIONS OF THE FORCED FLOW OF A HEAT-RELEASING FLUID,

Abstract

Heat exchange is investigated under conditions of forced convection in a hollow duct with a heat source whose power density is distributed in the fluid stream according to a given law. The problem is reduced to solving a boundary value problem, and the equation is transformed through the introduction of dimensionless coordinates. The variation of the heat flux at the walls of the hollow duct during the flow of the heat-releasing fluid is plotted in a graph for given values. (Author)
