DODGE TELEVISION REPRODUCTION SYSTEM.

Abstract

A television reproduction system was built that meets the requirements of the DODGE spacecraft and is capable of meeting the needs of future TV satellites which might have resolution and speed requirements a factor of three above the DODGE capabilities. Both a positive hard copy and a negative transparency are available to the user 20 seconds after completion of the scan. A raster of 1000 x 1000 picture elements can be presented where each element can be modulated 100% and is repeatable within 1/5 of one picture element over the entire raster. Data annotation is printed on the film in alpha-numeric form from an off-line computer. (Author)
