SPECTRA OF ATMOSPHERIC FLUCTUATIONS OVER A FREQUENCY RANGE FROM 0.02083 TO 30 CYCLES/HOUR.

Abstract

Variance (power) spectra of horizontal wind speed have been computed from one week of data taken at seven levels on a tall (462 m) television tower near Oklahoma City. The seven spectra, covering periods from 2 minutes to 2 days, are presented in graphs of spectral distributions and spectral density functions. (Author)
