MODULAR COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR IMAGE-PROCESSING AND MANIPULATION.
Abstract
Several members in a family of modular image-processing computer programs are described. A data structure useful for image-processing is defined. Modular programs, under control of an executive program, operating within this data structure are described as valuable tools for image-processing research. The modular programs, designated Micro Instructions, perform such operations as image sampling, storage, erasure, coding, isodensity plane extraction, framing, graphing, etc. (Author)
