LASER RAMAN SCATTERING STUDIES OF CRYSTALS, INCLUDING LIGHT SCATTERING STUDIES OF THE ALPHA-BETA PHASE TRANSITION IN QUARTZ

Abstract

The temperature dependent Raman and Brillouin scattering spectra of crystalline quartz have been studied with special emphasis on the alpha-beta phase transition region. Results are given.
