A METHOD FOR INCREASING RESISTANCE TO INTERFERENCE IN A MULTICHANNEL FOR THE TRANSMISSION OF DIGITAL INFORMATION,

Abstract

This patent describes an improved method of reducing interference in a multichannel system for the transmission of digital information. This is accomplished by the simultaneous transmission of certain signals over the information and reserve channels. Distribution devices are employed at the transmitting and receiving terminals which, in conjunction with the control circuitry described, make use of channel and positional control signals for error detection and correction.
