STUDY OF HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRODES IN MICROWAVE TUBES.

Abstract

An investigative program on modulating anodes and anode structures used in high-power linear beam microwave tubes was completed. The high-voltage experiments were conducted at voltages up to 280 kV. Instrumentation used and parameters varied during these experiments are discussed. Analytical work conducted in various electrode designs utilizing the analog computer is described. (Author)
