IRRADIATION EFFECTS ON REACTOR STRUCTURAL MATERIALS.
Abstract
The report includes the following: (1) properties of steels irradiated in the reactors having significantly different neutron moderating characteristics, (2) development and verification of a damage function for correlation of radiation embrittlement in steels, (3) fracture evaluation of irradiated A543 Class 1 steel, (4) development of temperature conditioning systems for testing radioactive tension specimens, and (5) evaluation of properties of irradiated A537-B plate and A350-LF2 forging and weld metal.
