ADVANCED TECHNIQUES IN TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION

Abstract

The four techniques discussed are: (1) A technical instruction book without text; (2) SIMM, a better way of arranging technical information; (3) Troubleshooting template, a device that enables the technician to locate a defective part more easily than by using conventional troubleshooting manuals; (4) A computer assisted troubleshooting method.
