NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF DYNAMICAL OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS,

Abstract

The paper is a study of the technique proposed by Balakrishnan as applied to infinite dimensional linear systems. This technique is different from other methods and seems to have two major advantages over them. First of all, it is more general in that it applies to a broad class of systems which contains the previous ones as particular cases. The second advantage, but not the least, is that the computational algorithm is by far simpler than any other.
