EVALUATION OF THE ASDE BRIGHT DISPLAY.

Abstract

The purpose of this project was to determine whether the addition of (1) a bright display in the tower cab, and (2) solid state duplexers in the radar channel enhanced the capability of the tower controllers to provide safe and expeditious control of ground traffic and improved Airport Surface Detection Equipment reliability.
