TEMPERATURE FIELDS IN FLIGHT STRUCTURES COMPUTATIONAL METHODS,

Abstract

This book is intended for engineers, as well as for graduate and undergraduate students of higher technical schools, who are familiar with the principles of heat transfer and whose specialty is related to the calculation of the thermal and structural strength of aircraft and of aircraft engines. Material presented includes: finding temperature fields in the thin-walled elements which are commonly found in aircraft and engines; operative formulas; reference tables and graphs; illustration of computation methods using arbitrary data; frontiers of experimental research in the temperature fields.
