DESIGN OF EXPERIMENTS AT SEA USING EXPLOSIVES.

Abstract

The report describes the use of explosives as underwater acoustic sources in sound studies. Some characteristics other than point sources are delineated. Suggestions are made on how these characteristics can enhance the design of certain types of experiments. (Author)
