SOLVING SYSTEMS OF LINEAR ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS USING RESIDUE ARITHMETIC.

Abstract

The report contains a summary of the basic theorems from the theory of numbers relative to residue arithmetic. Analogous theorems for residue matrix arithmetic are proved and a complete algorithm for solving systems of linear algebraic equations using residue arithmetic is presented. Numerical results demonstrate the computational feasibility of the algorithm. (Author)
