Abstract

The book presents the principles and procedures for programming information and logic problems such as the processing of economic data, searching for scientific or technical information, etc. An expanded algorithmic language based on ALGOL and which contains within itself the capacity to process compound quantities and lists is examined. Included is a description of the memory storage capability in the machine and the process of handling various types of lists; all of which assure a rapid search for data in an immense inventory of information.
