SINGLE-CHANNEL ULTRASONIC LIQUID FLOWMETER,
Abstract
An Author Certificate has been issued for a single channel ultrasonic flow meter for liquids such as oil and oil products. The device contains two piezoelectric elements with acoustic lines, a high frequency master oscillator, a switching-pulse generator, modular and selector amplifiers, and a phase detector. To increase accuracy, the acoustic lines are made in polyhedron form with mirror-reflecting surfaces, and the selector amplifiers are connected to the phase detector through amplitude-limiting and final cascades.
