STUDY OF EFFECTS OF LEADED FUELS ON TURBINE HOT SECTION MATERIALS,

Abstract

Tests were conducted to study the effects of leaded fuel combustion products on hot section materials of the Model GTCP85-102 Gas Turbine, the effects of selected protective coatings in inhibiting lead corrosion on representative hot section materials of the gas turbine, and the effects of coatings on the mechanical properties of hot section materials.
