DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND FABRICATION OF AN ULTRA-HIGH-RESOLUTION CATHODE-RAY TUBE.

Abstract

The objective was to develop a seven-inch and nine-inch ultra-high-resolution cathode-ray tube capable of delivering 10 microamperes into a spot of 5-microns diameter at the half-intensity points. The tube will utilize spiral focusing lenses, assisted by magnetic focusing, and an FRM electron gun. (Author)
