Abstract

The report presents typical eigenvalues for the Class I type of flextensional underwater acoustic transducer shell. The mathematical model utilized is briefly discussed and the eigenvalues obtained for an untapered and tapered horizonatally-clamped circular curved beam at various opening angles are presented in graphical form.
