DEVELOPMENT OF CORROSION RESISTANT COATINGS FOR USE AT HIGH TEMPERATURES.

Abstract

Details are given of a program to develop corrosion resistant coatings for nickel base alloys and refractory metals. The primary objective was oxidation resistance. The secondary objective was resistance to fuel combustion products at elevated temperatures. The approaches to these problems and the progress are reported. (Author)
