AN INTEGRAL-DIFFERENTIAL-DIFFERENCE METHOD ANALYSIS OF VISCOUS FLOW OVER AN IMPULSIVELY ACCELERATED SEMI-INFINITE PLATE.

Abstract

The suddenly accelerated semi-infinite flat plate problem is analyzed by an integral-differential-difference method. The solutions obtained using boundary-layer equations and modified boundary-layer or Navier-Stokes type equations are strikingly different. (Author)
