GRINDING OF LARGE PLATES AND SHEETS WITH A VARIABLE CROSS SECTION,

Abstract

A method has been developed for the finishing of large plane surfaces with varying configurations. The essence of the method is that the sheet is worked with a metal brush made of particles of ferromagnetic powder which is located in the magnetic field. Such a brush, following the magnetic field relative to the surface of the sheet, can fill all of its depressions and perform grinding.
