The Vapor Pressure of Standard Samples of Gold and Silver

Abstract

The vapor pressures of gold and silver were measured by the Knudsen effusion technique. Vapor pressures were determined for liquid gold in the temperature range 1700 to 2000K. Vapor pressures were determined for liquid silver in the temperature range 1370 to 1525K.
