ELECTRON-BEAM WELDING OF MOLYBDENUM,

Abstract

Optimum parameters were determined for the electron-beam welding of Mo 15 mm thick. Welding was done on a stand type LD-30S of Chinese design. The effect of the degree of the vacuum and of the welding technology on the properties, particularly the ductility, of Mo welds, and the causes of their brittleness were analyzed. (Author)
