LINEAR HOMOGENEOUS DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEM,

Abstract

A linear digital control computing system with partially-variable structure is suggested for automation of scientific experiments; the system comprises a number of 'elementary' control computers. One of the possible schemes of such a system tentatively offered in the article comprises the following parts: switching unit of each ECC; switch; scheme for controlling the switches; tuning register; information exchange; a conjunction of indicants omega which take part in ECC operation; generalized signal for information exchange; signal for subsystems joining; information line. In the above scheme, either an ECC or a combination of ECC's can operate as a control computer. Switching operations are explained in some detail. (Author)
