THE INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS OF A WORKING FLUID ON THE FRICTION OF HYDRAULIC CYLINDER PACKINGS,

Abstract

The article examines the friction process of packings of hydraulic power cylinders at a temperature of the contact surfaces of from -40 to +100C with lubrication provided by different mineral oils. Oscillograms of the frictional force of common types of sealing devices were obtained and the most favorable range of temperatures of the working fluid of hydraulic machines and mechanisms was determined.
