PM-4SS: TWO DEGREE OF FREEDOM MISSILE TRAJECTORY COMPUTER PROGRAM WITH VARIABLE ATMOSPHERE AND OPTION OF SPIN AND STABILITY CALCULATIONS FOR UP TO FOUR STAGE SPIN-STABILIZED MISSILES OR SHELLS USING A SPHERICAL EARTH MODEL.

Abstract

The report describes a four stage, point-mass trajectory FORTRAN IV program for the IBM 360/65. A fixed spherical earth model is used and the 1959 ARDC Standard Atmosphere is included in the program. Spin calculations and gyroscopic and dynamic stability calculations can be performed. A third order Runge-Kutta method is used for integrating the equations of motion. (Author)
