THE FAMILY OF INFLUENZA VIRUSES AND OF PNEUMOTROPIC ANIMAL VIRUSES

Abstract

Influenza viruses and pneumotropic animal viruses are characterized. The morphology, pathology and immunology of these viruses are discussed. A classification of species and types is given for the pneumotropic animal viruses. The epidemiology and mode of transmission of influenza and pneumotropic viruses are summarized.
