COMMUNICATION, COOPERATION, AND NEGOTIATION IN CULTURALLY HETEROGENEOUS GROUPS.
Abstract
The research program was concerned with three major sub-projects. These are (a) the identification of concepts and behaviors which critically affect intercultural relations; (b) the development of principles and methods for programmed self-instructional culture training for the purpose of assisting Americans to adjust and work more effectively in foreign cultures or in association with individuals from different cultures; and (c) laboratory and field studies to evaluate the effectiveness of these programs under different leadership and organizational structures.
