EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH THE GD-314 LIGHT TELEMETER,

Abstract

The GD-314 Light Telemeter, a range-finding device for the precise determination of distances up to 900 meters, is described and evaluated as a result of field survey measurements taken during a 32-day period. Tables are provided showing mean-square and relative errors. The GD-314 is considered practical for field use due to low weight, economical power consumption and demonstrated stability of the optical and electrical circuits under adverse transportation conditions.
