METHOD OF DEALING WITH FIRES AND EASILY INFLAMMABLE LIQUIDS THROUGH THE USE OF FOAMS,

Abstract

Fire extinguishing foams of greater stability are generated more efficiently by using 3 percent aqueous solution of the vat residues which are formed in the course of the production of 100 percent isobutylene and which contain surfactants. Such solutions have better storage stability and foaming activity than the usual extinguishers based on surfactants.
