PROJECTS IN 0S0-III SOLAR ULTRAVIOLET DATA ANALYSIS, IONOSPHERIC PHYSICS, SCATTERING PHENOMENA AND INNOVATIVE COMPUTER TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The report is presented in two parts. Part I describes the program written to process ultraviolet measurements from the OSO-III satellite, the logical procedures and computations are explained. Sufficiently detailed information is included to allow the user to set up computer runs. Part II furnishes theoretical and practical descriptions of nine computer programs written for projects which include: ionospheric drift investigations, network synthesis, analysis of experimental EEG data, Lunar Laser Range Finder Development, hydrogen-electron scattering, determination of the roots for a sixth degree polynomial and providing a linear fit for a decay type algebraic equation.
