NUMERICAL INTEGRATION STUDY,

Abstract

The theory of generalized high-order multistep methods has previously been extended by Dyer to the special second-order equation y double prime = f(x,y), which is pertinent to the two-body problem. In this report, generalized methods for the first-order equation and for the above second-order equation have been combined to produce new predictor-corrector algorithms for satellite orbit trajectory computations. Test results in certain representative trajectories are reported. (Author)
