COMPENSATING THE REACTIVITY OF NUCLEAR REACTORS WITH THE HELP OF LAYERED COMBUSTIBLE ABSORBENTS,

Abstract

The article discusses the possibility of using layered combustible absorbents to compensate the reactivity of nuclear reactors. A method is proposed which makes it possible, in an P sub 1-approximation of neutron distribution outside an absorbent having no scattering, to calculate the space-time distribution of the absorbing material in a plane, combustible absorbent consisting of several layers of mixed materials.
