PERFECTING THE DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE AIRDROME PAVEMENTS,

Abstract

Tests made in laying reinforced concrete airdrome pavements by SOYUZDORNII, where the installation of reinforcement wire elements is mechanized by the use of a self-propelled machine, are described and analyzed. The authors conclude that the method employed was insufficiently mechanized, involving too much labor-consuming auxillary tasks. (Author)
