VISCOUS DAMPING AND HIGH OVERLOAD PROTECTION FOR LOW PRESSURE TRANSUDCERS.

Abstract

This report describes the development of a viscous damping technique and an improved overload support for use with both differential and absolute pressure transducers. The damper effectively eliminates resonance of the diaphragm and the support enables the instrument to withstand an overload factor of at least fifty. (Author)
