VACUUM TUBE RESEARCH PROJECT.

Abstract

The report describes the status of installation of vacuum tube construction facilities and microwave test equipment for the laboratory. Research studies were begun in two major directions. First, the advanced theoretical study of the helix as a propagating structure, and second, the power limitations of the backward wave oscillator.
