UTILIZATION OF CONTENT ANALYSIS AS A METHODOLOGY FOR POLITICAL SCIENCE ANALYSIS: SOME ILLUSTRATIONS FROM AFRICAN POLITICS.

Abstract

The paper contains three somewhat disparate sections. The first deals with problems and issues facing any attempt to use content analysis for political science. The second section covers the uses and techniques of machine content analysis. The third section contains materials from the author's analysis of African political ideology using content analysis.
