NATIONAL ATOMIC AND MOLECULAR PHYSICS CONFERENCE, MANCHESTER (MARCH 31-APRIL 3, 1969).

Abstract

The first Annual Atomic and Molecular Physics Conference attracted some 200 participants. There was much emphasis on low energy collisions, especially of electrons on molecules. Numerous applications to astrophysics were pointed out. New techniques for atomic lifetimes, absolute intensities, and line shapes were described. (Author)
