ADAPTIVE SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING AND PROCESSING INFORMATION,

Abstract

In information processing systems, the time spent in interrogation delays the time for error correction by the system of automatic regulation. An improvement is offered by a system using an adaptive alternating cycle of operation and a parameter selection for error correction. The system consists of determining the standard deviation of the corresponding parameter and working out a correction for the parameter which has evolved from the operation. Data units may be grouped together and only those parameters which show deviation are dealt with in the course of information processing. A functional diagram of this system of information processing is included.
