SUPERSONIC GAS FLOW PAST BLUNT BODIES. THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES.

Abstract

Over a number of years formulation of numerical algorithms for calculating flow past blunt bodies with detached shock wave has been underway in the Computation Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Leningrad Engineering Physics Institute. This review dwells on several features in the use of the method of integral relations for this problem and describes the construction of numerical algorithms, and demonstrates their use for various cases of streamline flow.
