HEAT TRANSFER TO AN MHD FLUID.

Abstract

For the design of MHD devices - accelerators and generators, the calculation of the various losses is important. Among others, of great importance is the heat transfer to the walls of the channel and the electrodes. A study was made to investigate theoretically and numerically the magnetohydrodynamic channel-flow with the forced-convection heat transfer and the optimal design of MHD devices. (Author)
