TOPOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF SETS CONNECTED WITH APPROXIMATION THEORY.
Abstract
The report describes topological properties of polyhedra on which there exist systems of functions of given Chebyshev rank. Calculations are made of the minimum orders of Korovkin systems for one-dimensional, locally connected continua and two-dimensional manifolds. (Author)
