THE STRUCTURE OF THE EARTH'S CRUST OF THE INDIAN OCEAN ACCORDING TO THE DATA OF GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATIONS,

Abstract

Extensive complex geophysical investigations of the structure of the earth's crust in the Indian Ocean have been much neglected. The first geophysical investigations on the water area of the Indian Ocean were conducted by Vening-Meiness in 1923. The results of measurements of the force of gravity were used to determine the isostatic state and features of the structure of the earth's crust of the Indonesian transition zones. The report contains seismic investigations of crustal structure in the Indian Ocean by the method of refracted waves etc. (Author)
