PARACHUTE,

Abstract

The invention describes a cargo parachute which is designed to be released from aircraft travelling in excess of 450 km/h. In order to avoid cargo and parachute damage a time-device is employed which delays opening of the parachute by a previously established time interval. The time-delay device is actuated by a pilot parachute. (Author)
