USS J. F. KENNEDY (CVA67) PERFORMANCE OF C13 AND C13-1 WET RECEIVER, CONSTANT PRESSURE CATAPULTS.
Abstract
A review is given of CVA67 C13 and C13-1 catapult performance with wet receivers and 800 psig constant pressure operation. Launch valve operators are fitted with metering rods, P/N 509725-1, set at 0.040 rod extension. Launch valve opening rate is varied by use of the capacity selector valve with spindle, P/N 512098-1.
