IMPACT THERMOMECHANICAL QUENCHING OF ALUMINUM ALLOYS,

Abstract

The effect of hydraulic shock and mechanical vibrations in the process of melting of the alloys D1 and V95 on their mechanical properties was investigated. It was established that following their impulsive thermomechanical quenching the hardness of specimens of these alloys is higher than that of control specimens. (Author)
