ALL-UNION SYMPOSIUM ON APPLIED MATHEMATICS AND CYBERNETICS,
Abstract
An All-Union symposium on applied mathematics and cybernetics, organized by the Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Gorki University was held in Gorki from 29 May to 3 June 1967. Papers and reports (495) were presented in the following sections: (1) qualitative theory of differential equations (44 papers); (2) dynamic systems (102 papers); (3) problems of stability and of transient processes in control systems (34 papers); (4) extremal problems and systems (92 papers); (5) pattern recognition and diagnostics (53 papers); (6) mathematical logic and its applications (25 papers); (7) applied methods for solving optimization and automatic control problems (69 papers); (8) biocybernetics (58 papers); and (9) applied linguistics (18 papers).
