A GENERALIZED RADAR OUTPUT SIMULATION

Abstract

Using the outputs from the simulation of overall body motion related to observations at a complex of earth stations, this report develops a model for generating the scattering matrix and radar output voltages. The general multistatic case is treated using a geometry which simplifies the data gathering and merges conveniently with the motion simulation. The monostatic case is given separate treatment due to certain simplifications possible in this situation. Variations to account for polarization modes, Faraday rotation and noise are also included.
